Another week of preseason in the books. What I took away from it is there are some bad teams that will play hard all season, but it will not do much during the regular season. I have found some teams that have a lot of talent but no direction, they will be impressive on paper and have everyone wondering why they can not put it together. I have also seen the usual suspects honing their craft and will be at the forefront of the pack all year.
What does all that mean to you the fan? How does your team stack up or where will they end up heading toward the playoffs? This year will be unlike any other. Expect to see some surprises. Expect to see solid competition all year. Who will be that dark horse that no one sees coming? Will the rookie QB's still come in and be the stabilization that a team needs to advance or does that trend end this year?
This is why we watch, why we scream at an inanimate object called television, this is why we lift all them weights in the off season and why we love to watch these modern day gladiators battle weekly. This is perhaps the best "reality t.v." ever created. All hail the Heroes! The battle will soon begin!
